Frenchies come in lots of colors, fawn, white, chocolate, liver, black, brindle, pied, lilac, merle, black & tan, and blue/gray. They stand about 11-13 inches tall and usually weigh somewhere between 25 and 30 pounds. Because of their build and laid back nature, they fall into the non-sporting category. You can expect a healthy Frenchie to live 10-13 years. Grooming a French Bulldog is simple. That short coat needs a brush now and then to keep it looking good. Do stay on top of nail trims, though. These dogs don’t need tons of exercise, so they work well for people new to dog ownership or anyone living in an apartment. Frenchies do best in moderate weather, so keep an eye on them when it’s really hot or cold outside. Always use a leash or fenced yard when they’re outdoors. Try not to leave your Frenchie home alone longer than 3-6 hours.
